Dunno if its still the case, but, a few years ago, Taiwan was the NBA's largest market, per capita, outside of the US.

And the first Asian man to win the 100m free in world competitoon (August, 2015 Swimming World Championships in Kazan, Russia). No Asian male has ever done that before.

Cricket and soccer are about neck and neck in Afghanistan. I think more watch/listen to soccer but more play cricket.
