Yes its a public holiday until Tuesday here, all offices, banks etc are now closed until the day after tomorrow. And its holiday season for students, so you are expecting more Indonesians at Orchard road lol.

In NYC, the street cleaning is canceled for this holiday so those celebrating don't have to move their cars.

I saw some people wearing traditional Afghan clothing carrying large pans of food down the street with a big smile like they were happy to be going to a party or feast?

last weekend, I think it might have something to do with the end of fasting?

and it was in the evening around sun set
