Yes Chinese invest in Africa for profits and political gains too, but business is always like that. It depends on your attitude.
A lot of Africans live in China. Guangzhou alone has over 20,000, and it is increasing by 30% a year.

It just boggles my mind every time I hear BS logic like this: when China does business with Africa/Latin America, it is exploiting those countries. When America does it. well, that's simply investments. People who believe this don't need any evidence to solid argument, it is just what it is, because China is bad and America is good.

An example is how Freeport operates in Papua as comparison to the Chinese after the ore ban, the Chinese immediately build the smelter required by the policy while freeport try their best resisting it.
