And from the Israel/Syria border no less. The UN and EU are worthless. All talk, no action.

It was the contingent from Fiji which was captured. Two Filipino platoons held off the al Qaeda force. One platoon was relived by Irish Peacekeepers the other got into a firefight and evacuated under cover of darkness.

Rumor says the UN force commander wanted them to surrender their weapons to negotiate the Fijians release but Manila advised their commander to hold.

The UN has run away again.The UN evacuated all its troops (UNDOF) to the Israeli side of the ceasefire line.
