KFC is way bigger in China than McDonald's is. I think the chicken sandwich they serve there is pretty alright.

I do like Formosa Chang in Taiwan and I really like the sweet potato fries at T.K.K. fried chicken (as well as the logos for both places). However, I don't eat in either place very often when I go to Taiwan, because there's so much cheap street food around.

I really like the Yoshinoya in Japan (seems to taste way better than the Yoshinoyas I've had in the US) though I think Sukiya is better. I am also a big fan of MOS Burger and pretty much all MOS Burger items. I sort of love cheap east in Japan.

I found that fastfood resto is not so popular in Singapore, in a sense that people prefer to eat at kopitiam (hawker center).

Eating local fastfood is a thing tourist can do in another country. Don't stick those US global chainstores. Eating local fastfood is a local culture, they are nice here in Asia.

How fast can food be classified as fastfood.
I consider noodles availabe to customers 5 minutes after order fast food.
(I usually have rice and noodles available within a few minutes after I ordered in Asia. fast)

Wow, I disagree. Singapore is the fast food capital of the world. In Singapore you see the fast food of the entire world, with hawker centers as one type of fast food. Most food eating depends in Singapore depends on where one is. Real hawker centers are few in high rent areas. There is an indoor variant of them.

S.

Taiwanese style fried chicken is itself a Taiwanese fast food, not a single company, with shops own by many different families all over Taiwan.
