At this point there aren't really any, though Singapore is trying very hard to become that. Do you foresee any of these countries to start generating a large corpus of primary research in the coming decades? Which country do you think will have the first/next Nobel science prizes or similar like the Wolf prizes or a Fields medal? I think so far, Vietnam is the only one to get one of the major prizes with a Fields medal awarded to Ngô Bảo Châu, but maybe there are others I've overlooked.
