Thanks for the video it is very well done. It sure draws some interesting debate and brings to light another aspect of life in the Philippines that isn't covered by western media sources. The documentary is a bit one sided but I suppose there's plenty of reason to be that way. After all, they did request to hear from Aquino but he declined.

Either way, thanks for the link.

when you don't use ear protection, your accuracy, especially in rapidfire, decreases by at least half, to maybe as little as 10% of what you have in practice.

Yes, there are many illegal guns in the Philippines....but mass shooting is not as common as it is in Western countries particularly the US...where mass shooters even LEGALLY own the guns used for their crimes

Perhaps because the politically violent are drawn out of the general pool. So instead of a lone wolf you have a representative of the NPA the Abu Sayyef or a local mayor's security forces at election time.

^^ incomparable since private armies and NPA are HIRED people because those who hold the guns have no jobs. And their targets are often political in nature

You cannot say the same for the mass shooters who often have lunatic purposes (anti-black, anti-women, anti-men, just want some 15-minute fame, etc) and target non-political civilians. They purpose hardly have political nature. Just some bunch of losers and lunatics who were able to get guns legally.

The point being that those terrorists and private militias won't be as selective as more official security forces so the potential mass shooters find themselves a home with people rewarding them for such behaviors. Instead of being rejected for enlistment or reenlistment and going off

^^ And the point is, most NPA and private armies hired shooters are shooters because of employment. Given them other employment, they would cease to exist.

Meanwhile, a lot of mass shooters in the US are well employed or have families feeding them. The Isla Vista shooter's dad was even a Hollywood director and drives a BMW
