Yeah it is not official yet but well everyone betting their money on him..

Anyway Lee HSien LOong said electing the next PM will happen soon after general elections .
So we are not too far to know who it will be for sure

Could be the ex-CDF......but I personally prefer Chan Chun Sing.......as a former NSMen, I have heard good things of him.

Frankly speaking.....from my POV....no......

Problem is whomever rules Singapore got to have a ability to navigate international relations and politics.....I know some Singaporeans whom are a bit sarcastic about the number of ex-generals the current government is putting up as candidates, but personally speaking, I feel that the current batch of ex-generals can successfully guide Singapore through these tense international times.

If the opp party can become the governing party in the future then possible .

PM will have to be a member of the ruling governing party

That's a pity.

I don't really get what "tense international times" Singapore is having though. Are you guys having troubles with anyone? Singapore seems to get along with everyone.
