Taiwan's main opposition leader disappointed with Xi-Ma meeting - Channel NewsAsia

on a sidenote, a Taiwan journalist keep insisting that the chinese side answer her question.. Come across to me as rude.

Let's see how this meeting means for future China Taiwan relations
The taiwanese like to think that they are (still) important to China. Not! LOL They are locked there slowly declining economically, and quite frankly, China has more important things to do than to deal with these people now. The Anti-Secession Law pretty much drew the red line in the sand and that's it.

Because to China, taiwan isn't all that important anymore. It will never be allowed to change its name from the ROC, and it is under China's full military coverage. What else is there for taiwan to do? China has much bigger fish to fry.

Mr. Ma only knows politics and Chinese history, he knows nothing about economy. Taiwan will still have a bad economy even with closer economic relations with China. The politicans in Taiwan are useless.
