We've seen truly terrifying bridges before, but nothing quite as scary-looking as the Eshima Ohashi Bridge in Japan.

The bridge, which connects the cities of Matsue and Sakaiminato, appears to go straight into the sky and suddenly drop off. Built high so that fishing boats can pass underneath, the structure fortunately isn't quite as steep as it looks.

Who doesn't want to ride a roller-coaster on their way to work? I wonder how much air time I can get if I'm doing 80 mph at the peak.

Reminds me of the San Mateo bridge in California.

Even the Coronado bridge in San Diego.

The two bridges that scare me are the bridges that connects I-5 over the Columbia River dividing Oregon and Washington, and the Deception Pass Bridge on the way to Whidbey Island. They seem very high and narrow.
