i didnt say the spaniards introduced christianity in Japan, i said they sent missionaries frm Manila

so you are correct. but doesnt mean i am wrong because both the portuguese and spaniards were present in Asia. in fact they were a united kingdom in the period christianity was being introduced in Japan

2. The Iberian Union dated from about 1580-1640 but it wasn't a united Kingdom it was a dynastic union. Two separate states governed by the Kings from the House of Habsburg.
