Terrible. I have gone to Tiger 'sanctuaries' in Thailand years ago but not this one.

So basically people were giving money to this place in the belief tigers were being cared for, yet it appears it was a form of tiger farming.

Thai Police Find Tiger Slaughterhouse in Temple Probe - ABC News

Quote:
Police investigating Thailand's now infamous Tiger Temple found what they believe was a slaughterhouse and tiger holding facility used in a suspected animal trafficking network.

The discovery Tuesday is the latest in a growing scandal surrounding the Buddhist temple, which was a popular tourist attraction that charged admission for visitors to take photos with the tigers and walk them on leashes. Last week, authorities removed more than 137 tigers from the temple grounds and also found 40 dead tiger cubs in a freezer and 20 more preserved in jars.

Animals belong in the wild. There is an attraction here called "Tiger Kingdom," where tourist line up to pay 10 USD to have their photo taken with a Tiger. A tiger that has been heavily, and regularly tranquilized. The elephant camps are mostly as bad. The general public are such suckers for tourism marketing.

Round up the people who are buying tiger parts. Execute the monks, butcher their parts, make into stew, and force feed to those folks paying for tiger parts. I am sure the stew will work just as well for their old men erections.
