Greetings, everyone
I am a high school senior who is looking for what to do after high school. I originally wanted to join the U.S. Navy, as my grandfather served there in World War II, but have epilepsy and was disqualified. I was looking into foreign militaries, and the only ones that would accept me are Russia and questionable paramilitaries in Syria and Donbass. However, I recently saw this on the Wikipedia article about militaries recruiting foreigners.
Bangladesh Armed Forces- Bangladesh Military includes foreigners in Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy Forces & Bangladesh Air Forces. Almost 50,000 foreigners are serving in the military of Bangladesh, with 86,000 come to take training.
Bangladesh Military includes Americans, Bhutanese, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Nepalese, Iranians, Russians, Palestinians and Chinese. Mainly Palestinians and Iranians came here to train down. Foreigners who gets the citizenship of Bangladesh by the government gets the chance to work here. Sometimes foreigners also come here to train Bangladeshi Forces, mainly Americans
I have not seen any sources and have not heard back from them yet. I just heard about it and I have been looking into this for a while, so it makes me skeptical. Does anyone know if this is true and if it would be possible for me to join the Bangladesh military?
