He'll be around a long time. He also seems to execute just about anyone he deems a threat, so I think he'll be another Castro (minus the healthy, literate population).
Yeah... he will probably have at least a few decades in front of him. There's always the chance that over time he will mellow out... hell, Kim Jong Il's overtures towards the outside world look downright progressive relative to what his son is doing. I don't think the odds of him getting bumped off by other factions are likely, at least not any time soon.
The biggest threat to his life would be if he decided to attack Japan or a full-scale assault on Korea, the US troops at the DMZ, and/or a combined fleet. Their military would get hit bad, and the generals may decide that he's putting their lives at risk and choose to act.
This is nearly the first form of human government If he hadn't reproduced so that a regent could guide the child then one of his siblings with or without a General as regent take over. Now if he has time to push the button before he kicks the bucket depends upon how much he believes in his own divine status.
