^If you could manage HK with $45 per day then you wouldn't have any problem with Taiwan.

For the East Asian cities/towns I've visited on holiday this was my average daily budget (room and alcohol not included) to have some fun...

Tokyo: $130
Singapore: $100
Patong: $85
Bangkok: $75
Chiang Mai: $60
Korat: $40

Not spend enough time in Kuala Lumpur to give you a budget but everyone has their own preferences and standards so you probably could enjoy with less money. I stopped drinking alcohol 4 years ago, it can save you a lot of money.

One day in Bangkok i woke up with yellow eyes/skin and a swollen liver, went to the doc, gave me antibiotics for a month and recommended me to never drink alcohol again.

Not that much compared to many of the guys i see hanging out in the bars of Thailand.

Around 15 Corona beers per day for 2 months straight but in those 2 months i only slept like 5 hours per night and didn't eat very well (went from 74 kg to 66 kg, which is a lot for me as i'm 190 cm). It was my first trip to Thailand, still had to adjust to everything, the food, hygiene, climate etc.

That does sound really unhealthy.

But a few drinks every once in a while still wouldn't hurt

Yes i know but i'm the type of person that can't enjoy with just a few drinks so better for me to not drink at all I never drinked alcohol because i liked it, just to become more social. Right now i use valium/xanax instead because 1 month ago i stopped with my 12 year old marijuana addiction.

I guess so but not if you compare it with the foreign guys (especially Russians, Australians and English) you see in the red light districts of Thailand.
