Prince Mikasa of Japan died at age 100 several days ago:

Japan's Prince Mikasa, oldest imperial family member, dies at 100 | Reuters

May he RIP.

Also, for the record, Prince Mikasa was Emperor Hirohito's younger brother (hopefully you remember Hirohito from various movies and documentaries about World War II).

For the record, the reason that I posted this is to show everyone who isn't already aware of this that even male royalty sometimes become centenarians.

His name was Bhumibol Adulyadej (Bhumibol is pronounced Phumiphon btw, Yep Thai is a strange language) and died at 88.
