I am surprised that there is no thread on here talking about this high profile murder. I find it intriguing and frightening at the same time.

The news is reporting that the attackers used VX nerve agents to kill him. That type of highly poisonous substance is what bad regimes like Iraq used when they killed thousands of civilians.

What do you think happened? Is Kim Jong-Un behind his half brother's murder?

It was on the news. Someone rubbed his face and he never bothered to wash it off right away. He gone.

That stuff was too toxic. Washing wouldn't have worked. He needed an antidote but that wouldn't have been available for him in time.

It took weeks for them to find out what the substance was, let alone the few minutes he only had.

No doubt about it.
Anyone who's followed that nitwit for the last few years knows he kills anyone and everyone who upsets him.
He had one guy on his cabinet killed ("purged" is what they call it over there) for falling asleep when the nitwit was giving a speech.

It sounds like China may get more involved now as the nitwit is getting more and more insane and has been saying threatening things to China.

He's like a bratty 6 year old with way too much power.

Kim Jong Nam had also been under the protection of China, previously travelling with Chinese bodyguards and having been provided with housing and money by the PRC. Over time, he has certainly lost some of his luster - the freshness of his intel ran dry some years ago, and rather than being openly politically or socially active, he's preferred to gamble in Macau and live like a pimp on handouts. Nonetheless, he was under Chinese auspices and his assassination is sort of like a big middle finger to China, who are NK's only friends of any consequence in the world.

There was rampant speculation that China was keeping him in their pocket as a replacement Kim family figurehead in the event that they ever needed to depose Kim Jong Un, which likely had a lot to do with the assassination. Kim Jong Un's paranoia is quite legendary, and this would have been a huge sore point for him.

I thought the guy killed was a plant. His belly didn't have any tattoos on it which Kim had(has).
