*Actually not really. Hopefully somebody is paying attention to how dangerous IMHO the rumblings in this region are before we see more bloodshed.

don't be cynical. despite territorials issues, Japan didn't even bother to increase its military budget

just go back to WWII. Japan could not conquer Indonesia and Australia w/o invading the Philippines


you see, they rode roughshod over indo-china, Singapore, Indonesia but there is a dominant power in the Philippines which if you could not deal with it, your conquest meant nothing


some say that if the Philippines didn't held up Japanese troops for 6 months, Australia would have been under the rising sun too
