There are a ton of Indian-appearing people where I live. I've noticed that they tend to walk in groups (sometimes large) that separate men from women. Is this a common ritual?
I would say that depends on how conservative they are. I've seen plenty of modern ones who don't do it, with some more traditional ones splitting into groups like is somewhat common in the Middle East.
Not really. Maybe the women just want to talk to the women and the men want to talk to the men?
