The issue is never about whether they eat dogs. It is about stopping brually killing dogs in a painful and bloody way out in the open to all the public to see.

I support Chinese people's right to continue eating dogs (or any animals they like), just in a humane way.

This seems rather odd to me. Why is it okay to boil a lobster alive, but not a dog? Both are alive. I am in support of killing animals in a way that minimize pain and suffering, however it seems hypocritical that people want a certain group of people to stop eating a certain animal because they like having the animal as pets?

That is a crazy as for example Hindus forcing Americans to stop eating hamburgers because they hold cows as sacred?

People need to stop trying to push their views on other regarding this topic.

As long as people are not allowed to eat other people I am indifferent to which meats to eat. As long as I have a choice of opting not to eat the type of meat.

There are plenty of narrow minded people out there.

It requires some critical thinking to realize eating dogs isn't necessarily more unethical than eating lobsters.

Personally I don't eat dogs because I love dogs. But it's more a psychological/cultural issue, not an ethical issue.

I think a chef will tell you to whack the lobster over the head before boiling to reduce toughness. I would rather see the street dogs get rounded up and eaten than get bit by one on my way to 711.

Did lobsters help humans hunt for 500+ years? Do lobsters ever come to sit on your lap?

That's terrific. China should hold more of these in more provinces and cities. Throw in some cats too, I bet they taste like confit de canard if done right. Why should China be concerned with Western SJW bull****? Vive la Chine!!!

Did cattle not help humans to farm for 1000+ years?

Stop the western-centric hypocricy already.

There is nothing wrong with eating dogs imo, but I am against animal cruelty. I wouldn't ever promote eating dogs, but I won't criticize people who do. I would probably try dog if given the opportunity, but there are certain things I won't eat.
