Oh yeah they are outside Java but mostly Sumatra except Bali. Again, your devt is centered on two islands only Java and Sumatra. Bali is just extra.

Actually 6 as I can include Metro Olongapo/Subic better and more developed than Makassar:
(Aerials)

(Street Level)

Those Kalimantan and Sulawesi cities you posted are just same typical medium tier cities here in the Philippines nothing really that impressive.

Surely these Manado videos you posted can't beat Subic/Olongapo especially how much more shanties there are than what Subic or Olongapo has. Try another video, lol. Are you kidding me

Why not post street level videos too not just aerials?

So brave of you to compare Davao to Makassar. Can you tell me the GDP and per capita of Makassar as I am having a hard time looking for them on google. And then we will work from there.

For now I can give you at least 5; Metro Iloilo, Metro Davao, Metro Angeles, Metro CDO and Metro Baguio.
IloIlo, CdO, etc look even less developed than Davao. LOL

Anyway, as of 2018, GDRP of South Sulawesi Province was Rp462,340,000,000,000 or equal to USD 32 Billion, with GDRP percapita at USD 3,711
https://sulsel.bps.go.id/pressreleas...ahun-2018.html

Makassar as a city, in 2017 its GDRP percapita was USD 6,644
https://makassarkota.bps.go.id/publi...ngka-2018.html

Davao Region was PHP 816,873,862 or equal to USD 15 Billion
https://psa.gov.ph/regional-accounts...ata-and-charts

Tell me how much Davao city GDRP percapita is!

Meh ... Don't speak bull here. Philippine secondary cities are way less developed compared to its peers in ASEAN region. Except for MetroManila and Cebu, and maybe Davao and IloIlo, those cities look just like average towns in Indonesia.

Just check on youtube

MetroManila vs Jakarta : Both are quite similar
Cebu vs Surabaya : Surabaya
Davao vs Tangerang : Tangerang
CdO vs Medan : Medan
IloIlo vs Bandung : Bandung
Baguio vs Makassar : Makassar
Gensan vs Batam : Batam
Olongapo vs Pekanbaru : Pekanbaru

Duhhh ... it's so obvious

^^ Do your research. Like developed as port city, shipbuilding, more vibrant not just aerial but streetlevel, entertainment center among others. DO your research more... It has an area that's almost similar to BGC in organization. Do you have that in Makassar?

Lol that was a sweep out hahaha. Don't be shy just put Jakarta as your winner over Manila. Of course because you are Indonesian.

I already checked them on so may occasions. And it's the same sentiment like Manila-Jakarta. Phil cities are one notch more organized and not as messy as ID cities. Mine is

I can't understand your statement about Tarlac Davao blah blah sorry. Please rephrase.

We compare development of cities regardless what setting they have. You asked me cities that are more developed than Makassar I gave you at least 5. I actually have more,
