It's the other way around in Metro Manila, it has already a decent metro system plus a railway system. The railway of which is being planned for expansion plus more metro lines in the pipeline.

Btw, office workers with ties and coats would be a rarity in tropical countries like Jakarta and Manila. You would end up making yourself burning like hell with that. Avoid making yourselves sounding funny. Piece of advise.
city like jakarta let alone tropical area will never like new york or tokyo especially transportation (MRT, Subway) and so on but if jakarta really want to try let alone like project of MRT is big and expensive project and built with difficulty from year 2012 - 2019 can will like comment @winnycarita she say elite people or office workers in jakarta will use MRT there will be a good facility, service, layout especially Jakarta MRT will there any concept of TOD in the future nothing is impossible = the possibility exists

Both premise are possible, as the saying "nothing is impossible" is true. The only thing is, it has not happened yet hence no need to brag let alone be arrogant about it. Also, if you are only doing that just for the sake of aesthetics rather than practical use, then you will be no different from communism propaganda. Even our neighbor Singapore as developed as they are, they opt to do the smart casual rather than the full executive-dress-to-kill look.

Look at the comments of your fellow Indones which sounds some air of arrogance by backreading.

Again, you cant say that Manila has more problems than Jakarta because from what we discussed already here, from having worst traffic to perrenial problems of drinking water shortage despite water level rising leading to slowly shrinking your coastal areas, to poverty and earthquakes and climate issues and more serious river issues. You maybe a bit ahead of eradicating the poverty levels as of now than Manila but all the rest of the problems, thats only it, all the rest of these issues your not better off but looks much worse.

So existing Manila

Existing Jakarta

Though it's important to note that the Manila is rapid transit and much more frequent than Jakarta's commuter rail.
