A lot of bans are really stupid. Lebanon banned Wonder Woman because the lead is Israeli.

Yeah, in my mother's childhood you weren't supposed to say "German measles," it was Liberty Measles as I recall. And then I recall at one point we were supposed to order "freedom fries" instead of French fries because the French did not support the U.S. invasion of Iraq. (If only we had listened!")

Jackassery is not limited to any single nation or culture.

It's not, but the practice is dumb. Did the US ban fries after that? It was a childish tit for tat.
Lebanon banned a whole movie because 1 actress is Israeli. It has nothing to do with the content of the movie.

Winnie's walking gait are exactly like Xi's. It's kinda nice to have a Chinese leader looking like a cuddly and nice bear. What's wrong with that? It's a lot better than the caricature that Trump is likened to that's for sure, or even Obama. The Chinese are typically too rigid and closed minded to see the positive benefit for PR here.

The Tao of Pooh; Benjamin Hoff is - oddly enough - one of the more important books I have read. The book explains the concept of being a Taoist and shows Pooh to be a perfect example.
It's a wonderful, simple book and is one that allowed me to find a portion of myself.

We all use Taoism ( do by not doing ) in our daily lives. Without the principles recognized by Taoists we would be unable to tie our shoes or comfortably drive a car.

You would think the Chinese would welcome a comparison between Pooh, the quintessential Taoist, and the Chinese leadership.
Maybe they have, now.
