Maybe Jay Chou?
Internet search says his net worth was $185 million in 2015.

Jay Chou sucks. Ew.

Jolin Tsai and a bunch of other talentless, horrible singers/actors are also worth like tens of millions of USD. It's kinda hilarious.

Many rich Mainland Chinese stars are not known in HK and Taiwan. HK and Taiwan people are generally not interested in them. Mainland China can have their own entertainment without non Mainland Chinese fans, the population is big enough to be a world of its own. The same can also be said for Japan's 1 billion population but not South Korea and Taiwan.

Japanese and South Korean stars have disappeared in Mainland China.
Other countries' stars will have the same fate too if relations with China become bad.

Those Taiwanese need to goto Mainland China to earn the big money.
Some HK stars regarded as horrible in HK but not in Mainland China can also make big money in Mainland China.

No worse than Lil Wayne.

It's nothing but show business targeting tasteless consumers who don't know anything better.

Meh he still sucks. I can't stand his songs.

I can't stand Taiwanese show business. Such talentless, brainless, spineless ****heads. They'd pay their dues in their next life, at least that's what I hope for.

I saw a few mainland Chinese singers on US media too.
For example, Jane Zhang did a MV for Hulu and I think it is quite creative, although the music per se is so so.
It has been viewed 12 million times on youtube! (And youtube is banned in mainland China.)
The director is Taiwanese, I heard.

Taiwanese show business is slowly dying. Just curious, do they blame Koreans for their shrinking market share? lol

No not really. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Besides, it was never good. Talentless ****tards have always been talentless. The fact that they used to be popular only shows how poor the general public's taste is. I for one was really glad when Kangsi Lai Le stopped airing. Such an awful, tasteless, nauseating talk show. The hosts were ****ing repulsive.

To be honest the television stations here should really just purchase more shows from America and England and put them on. Maybe more Japanese anime, too.
