the Egyptians look down on all the other Arabs because they can trace their civilization to the Pharaohs while these oil rich Arab kingdoms are just nomads/herders before the discovery of oil.

Most importantly, Qatar has become closer to Iran ( who Saudis hate) because they need a working relationship. Qatar and Iran share the natural gas fields in the sea and do not want that interrupted by war.
Your a little lite on the AJ impact because that's a big thing that has been irking the rest of the GCC. Aljazeera is very critical of other Arab country and especially Arab Kingdoms all the while it is itself owned by the Emir of Qatar. The new Emir was known to be a Al-Qaeda/ISIS supporter even as the Crown Prince when his father was Emir. They were the main initial supporters of Daesh when they got started. They have given Militants pretty much free reign in Qatar as long as they don't do anything in the country.
What's funny is AJ has a huge global outreach and is much better informed than the BBC or CNN, but their biases are very Anti-American and Anti-Semitic. While Alarabiya is not that biased at all like that. But when I lived in Qatar I literally only had 2 English stations on my tv and Aljazeera was one of them. So I got very well acquainted with it.

Not only AJ criticizes the other arab countries, there's many channels actually.

For exemple El Sharq or El Hiwar criticize in particular Egypt and KSA. Both based in London.

There's used to be an egyptian show mocking egyptian politicians (by Bassam Youssef) but infortunately it became dangerous for him and his staff to continue :

People in the Middle east don't have the same religion, yes different dialects (I wouldn't say "slightly"); sometimes different languages.
If you mean by Middle east from Morroco to Irak then there's kurdish, amazighs, armenians etc... minorities who generally speak arabic but also their own language.

In general they consider themselves to be brothers.
Yet there's some political tensions like in Algeria/Morroco (concerning the Polisario), or the Qatar/KSA crisis etc

Of course some may look down on others but like in other part of the world.

It would be impossible to discern conflict borne purely of genuine organic prejudice and conflict borne of international strategy that uses ethnic prejudice as a veil for conflict. As another poster noted, certain nations see other nations as threats. It is likely that the perception is mutual. And behind all of that lies other motivations.

It's all related to being Tribal and they all look down at each as each one thinks they are the best Tribe. Best thing to do is Bobble Head everything and move on.

There is more going on than what you see the MSM posting. They've done a lot of good things in the ME but due to MSM leanings and political garbage they aren't recognized as such. Look up Rawabi in the West Bank. It was built for the people but even the Palestinian Authority gives them headaches for building it.
