Egypt has the Suez Canal, so I can see it having a value. But what value does Turkey and Iran have?

Turkey - Straits of Dardanelles - they could cut off the Russians

Iran - Straits of Hormus - They could cut off the oil of the Arabs

I am not even talking of how strategic these countries are

I was only referring to how influential these countries would be if there is no oil in the House of Saud.
These 3 countries can all trace their civilizations in the ancient world. and just 100 years ago, Turkey (ottoman empire) controlled all these Arabs

Do you ever wonder why Turkey is a member of NATO? and why the US Navy patrol the Persian Gulf?

Triple personality game. Morocco, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Mauritania are collectively the entire polar opposite from Syria/Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan/Yemen/Algeria/Egypt. Middle East unique exotic alien atmosphere: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...lation_Map.png Exclusive political quarrels. Outside of religious spirituality. Their own monarchs is beyond complex. Even UAE, and Qatar aren’t getting along with each other ironically. And ethnic Moroccans routinely call Tunisians “cannibals.” National reputation past or recent background rarely ever correlates when that occurs with reality. Respectful amiable alliance to hold in mind.

Where does Pakistan fit into all of this from an ME perspective? In most of Europe the Pakistanis have aligned themselves with the Middle Eastern population (though the media appears to have buried their heads in the sand). The South Asians also do not get along with Pakistanis into the second and latter generations too.

Pakistan is part of the organizations that support Iran too. I'm second generation westerner but I still consider Pakistanis to be racially Middle Eastern, the similarities with South Asians aren't any stronger than the "Chinese" who live in North-East India.
