Interesting discussion about people in the Philippines. Discussions about Spanish and Chinese blood and other influences. I have an acquaintance here in the US who now lives in the Philippines. He has a girlfriend who is from Agusan Del Sur in Mindanao. Doesn't seem to fit the normal mental picture of a typical Filipina whatever that is. She's very short even for a Filipina and has a really dark complexion and frizzy hair almost African in appearance. And no she isn't half black. Guessing she's from one of the indigenous tribes in the archipelago.

She would be of the Aeta, or the Negrito from the Spanish. I have to tell Filipinos coming to America don't use any word starting with a "N" to refer to black peoples.

Indonesians who are half Dutch are going to look more "Nordish" because Dutch people are "Nordish." Spanish people are Mediterranean and have darker features. So Filipinos mixed with Spanish aren't going to look Nordish. That's common sense

You're arguing about a tiny population that barely even exists in Indonesia. Here are the leftover Indonesian-Dutch people. Mostly poor old women, and they dont look "Nordish" at all. They mostly just look like regular Indonesians.

The women in the video dont seem to even want to live in Indonesia. All of the other Dutch left.

On the other hand, there's actually a small population of pure Spanish still living in the Philippines. These are the Spanish-Filipinos who decided to stay and never left. They're a small but influential population, and they're very proud to be Filipino. Afterall, the original meaning of "Filipino" was a Spaniard born in the Philippines.

Here are some of them who still live in the Philippines:

Most Spanish-Filipinos look mixed now because they have mixed with native Filipinos. So it's more common to see Spanish-Filipinos with some native Filipino features, like these families:

All Spanish-Filipinos can speak Filipino. Even the ones who look very white can still speak Tagalog or Visayan fluently

He's speaking Taglish, but he sounds exactly like a regular Manila Filipino

You're comparing 2 very different countries. In the Philippines, the Spanish-Filipinos are culturally very similar to mainstream Filipinos. The main difference is how they look and their wealth, but the culture is almost the same. In Indonesia, the Dutch were culturally very distinct from the majority of the population. That's probably they all left the country.

Europe there are several types of races like in Asian say Korean have Asian/Monolide looks like "light skin, smooth face, slanted eyes" then we are talking about Southeast Asian people look less asian/monolide like "brown skin, slightly rough face, big eyes"
in Europe like the Nordic / North european in general "pale white skin, smooth face, blonde hair , blue eyes" let's say Mediterranean / Southern Europe in general "black/brown eyes, slightly rough face, brown hair"
do you know a famous singer like Taylor Swift she has a distinctive Northern Europe Or like Ariana Grande she has the type Southern European
