Arabic is promoted in the Phillipines because many of their exported contract workers end up in the Middle East, not making enough money to fly home.

Most Filipinos have more interest in English than Spanish, but most of them also don't realize how much pf the Filipino language consists of Spanish loan words. They just use them, and then look at me funny when i know what they're saying (and I wasn't supposed to).

English should be studied
then sanskrit because the sanskrit influence on tagalog

Spanish should purged from the language.

Those powers in Asia were replaced by new rulers.

Japanese became less important in Taiwan and Korea , Dutch became less important in Indonesia, Spanish became less important in the Phillippines, German became less important in PNG and Portuguese became less important in Goa, Malacca and Macau.
