I've been to 15 of the countries listed.

I'm living in Japan now, and quite intrigued by it, so I'll stick with Japan on this poll.

However, pretty much every single country on the list is quite interesting in their own way.

My parents immigrated from Taiwan to the US. I still have a lot of family there. The night markets there are great -- where else can one get roast squid, pigs blood cake, and stinky tofu

I've been to only eight of the countries on the list. My favorite is Hong Kong. However, if Macau were listed I would probably have chosen Macau. It's a fascinating blend of Portuguese colonial and modern Chinese, and Macanese food is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

I voted Japan because I lived there for four years, but honestly, a lot of Asian countries
are great. I also loved Singapore, S. Korea, Thailand.

In general, I think Asia is just a dynamic, wonderful place.

I VOTE FOR PHILIPPINES. coz i was born and raised there!! i live in USA now, but my ultimate destination is europe. back to subject, you should seriously check our island beaches. after all, our country will not be composed of 7100 islands for nothing.

I've been to the Philippines many times, and love the islands and beaches tremendously. I just wish the cities were different. Everything is centered around the malls as walking around in the city streets just isn't very enjoyable, hence everyone goes to the malls.

I do like the Philippines though.

Never been to the Phillipines, but it sounds exactly like the USA

Macau is great, but I don't think I'd like to live there. After a couple of hours hanging around the Lisboa or Monte Fort I would usually catch a taxi back to the dock and then get the next Turbojet back to Hong Kong.

The thing that always confused me about Macau is why doesn't there seem to be as many restaurants as in Hong Kong? In Hong Kong you have a Cha chaan teng or Char Siu Rice place on every other block. In Macau I would sometimes wander around for block after block just looking for anyplace to eat.

Is it because the Casinos have restaurants in them?

I hate pigs blood, ugh . You forgot to mention the snake market in Taipei. Snake bile anyone?
