Huh? You must be kidding, right? If not, you've been under a rock too long there in Omaha.

Don't believe me, Google:

'China Counterfeit'
'China Spies'
'China Espionage'
'China Forgery'
'China Steal Secrets'
'China Dumping'

Obvisouly you'll find entries for any country, but count the hits for China, and read some of the articles, then post again.

Well,CNN is not supposed to say anything good about China. The bad news to CNN is that the opening ceremony is not bad overall. Luckily, they found some flaws at last.

CNN has done a good job to damage China's image again.

If you want to know the truth, I think the girl that they deemed to be acceptable has more Western characteristics in her looks, or is it just me? Maybe just my odd perception.

Don't you think that there is a good chance that she was told to say that? NBC reported that the little girl said she "didnt mind" ...please..they told her to say that.

This story actually was brought up in China first- newspapers uncovered this and online forums there in China were buzzing with angry people who were mad about this situation and the idea of the singer not being cute enough to show to the world- CNN and other world media just picked up on it from there, so don't blame CNN for blowing this out of proportion.

Anybody who does business with China, already knows they damage their own image.

Milli Vanilli has come to the games. That can't be a good thing. Maybe it's not the most important news to come out this century but it's pretty deplorable.

That is what I was thinking also.
And I agree that the girl that did the actual singing is very cute.
I am wondering iif her response is what is drilled into her ?

I really think we should have sent them Roseanne Barr to sing the national anthem, since she did such a great job with ours. I think they would really like the "crotch" ending.
