I would live in both. Dubai has those cool personalized islands you can live on. Vegas has those penthouses on the strip. If I was older I would prefer Dubai. As a young person I would probably go with Vegas
Neither.... but if I had to choose, it'd be Dubai due to the coastal location. I don't like the sprawling, auto-centric way either is laid out. I bet Dubai is a ghost town in 50-100 years anyway. Bubbles burst, Dubai is not immune.
Dubai by a long shot. Beaches, and attractions that make the craziest ones in Vegas seem tame! Ever seen a man made island? An indoor ski resort? A 2500 ft tall building? Dubai is insane, Vegas is meh.
Vegas. Dubai might be a great city, but at the end of the day, you're still stuck on the Arabian Peninsula (especially considering many of those countries don't think highly of Americans). At least Vegas is close to the scenic beauty if North America.
