that's all I could think..I visited Japan in 2004 and I really really miss its' magic..

With some exceptions terrible food (but very healthy)

Work hard but from what I see they aren't particularly wealthy (or it's because they are very discrete)

Technologically very advanced, stable/safe/clean country, cramped apartments in skyscrapers, people very polite/small/hard working, pretty isolated/homogenous and they want to keep it that way, few speak good English. I've never been there.

One word "Anime". Japan gave me my favourite shows of all time like Dragonball Z, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Bleach, (even Sailor Moon...lol). Anime's are awesome!!!
