-Rent a moped and drive around.
-Get a thai massage - everyday
-Go on the Tropical Islands cruise - bus to port on far side of island and then most of the day cruise.
-Go bar hopping at least one night and check out the human zoo
-Snokel or dive trip to nearby reefs.

Where exactly are you staying?

I second the idea of renting a scooter but be wary. Thailand has one of the highest road fatality rates in the world. Drive conservatively and watch out for drunks.

Try the coconut chicken and shrimp the locals sell on the beach.

Walk down Bangla Road a couple times, day and night.

Try the noodle soup with red pork.

Earthquakes would be a good thing to look for there.

Is Phuket nice in February?

We are staying near Patong Beach, and according to Google closer to the Gay side of the beach? That seems interesting...

Went to Thailand for the first time in May and will definitely return in the future. Visited Phuket, Phi Phi Island, Koh Lanta and Koh Ngai. Low cost. Beautiful food. Wonderful people. Truly a tropical paradise.

As far as things to do prior to going to Thailand, we had all the recommended injections. I reckon I had about 4. Plus a course of tablets. So we were confident exposure to things we weren't used to wouldn't be an issue for us and we had no problems. Interestingly, a few of the other people who went with us had no injections and took no precautions. They also had no problems.
