For authentic mexican food, I sometimes visit those mobile vans/trucks serving mexican food near construction/building sites where large number of mexican people are working. also once ate at la michiocana- a mexican grocery/fruit/meat chain in texas and it serves authentic food.

Those might be a bit more authentic, but they have a limited selection of food. There's more to Mexican food than just tacos and there are some Mexicans who claim burritos are not Mexican (could be because they're more popular in Northern states than the rest of Mexico), which they sell in the place you mentioned.

Anyway, we'll see how well Taco Bell performs in India; I know it's failed in some places such as Europe and Mexico.
