Report says nonbelievers know more, on average, about religion than most faithful. Jews and Mormons also score high on the U.S. Religious Knowledge Survey.
I only got 12 out of 15. I missed two Christian questions - the one about suffering and the one about the bread and wine. I also missed the one about Pakistan. I thought maybe it was a trick question! Oops! I'm actually surprised I did as well as I did! I thought I would have done much, much worse!
I got 14 out of 15. As most of you know I'm Catholic.
Mormons and Jews seem to test fairly well on this. Also among those of a religion those who attend more often seem to get more right. Still I think the news article is right that atheists/agnostics are less likely to be "indifferentist." Religion certainly matters more to many atheists than it does to many Catholics I know. Despite my arguments I in some ways respect how much more thought many atheists and agnostics put into these issues than many Christians do.

Job is old testament, not new, so that was not a Christian question.
Oh the one I missed was on the Jewish Sabbath. I was thinking to myself that it started on Friday night, but that it's commonly said to be Saturday so I went with Saturday. So I was sort of tricked by that one.
My answers to those were easy because - I was raised Catholic, married a Jew, have a Hindu dil, had a Bahai sil for a while, visited my son and dil when they lived in Egypt and had Muslim friends. I guess I have experience with most religions. I can include some lesser known ones that were not covered in the quiz, like Bahai.
I got 15 of 15, although the bloody wine thing almost tripped me up.
