I had a look at an excerpt. She's really quite amusing in her delivery.

I also saw this after it finished. Well worth a look.

God doesn't exist,so your post is pointless. Go back to B and N and get yourself a copy of The God delusion, read it.

Default I was surprised

I saw it and enjoyed it due to the sincere manner in which she discussed it all instead of the smart-a**ed and cynical approach that I have toward it. I was surprised that she was able to break free of her religious indoctrination but she points out that she began to think independently, scrutinize and evaluate objectively about it all, which is clearly frowned upon by organized religion for obvious reasons.

This made me chuckle a little bit, I mean, didn't you know????

If you were once a believer, and are now not a beliver, it just means that you were never a REAL believer in the first place! Ergo....you just don't believe in God and never have.

**Please note the above was meant sarcastically, I am just reiterating a train of logic I keep bumping into.

Yes, that tired old ditty keeps believers from really questioning why a true believer would lose their faith. It's so much easier just to say they never really believed in the first place. It's so disrespectful to those of us who were really serious about our faith/religion. It discounts the enormous effort it takes to reprogram our mind.

Or it could just mean, you were finally able to think for yourself and REALLY investigate it. Another train of logic mostly overlooked by believers.

If I had to pick a god I wouldn't pick that kind. Maybe you should get a new god?
What is a jackwagon?
I've noticed no one has answered the "jackwagon" question yet so I'll chime in. Although I'm and atheist I suspect it's a christian term of endearment.
I would imagine that many believers greet each other by saying "hey, jackwagon" or "did you jackwagons go to church today" or "can you believe what those jackwagons wore to church"
Let's break down the word - Jack, something used to lift up,and wagon, something use to transport. Uplifting transportation, clearly Jesus.

There are some issues that I don't mind being the bad example for!! It has really bugged a few religious types over the years. Yeah, my picture on the poster for the "Life without god foundation!" HEHEHEHEHE
