Indeed, Australia has already gone! We've all been raptured or left behind!

Don't forget to write home at least a post card. Send some pictures if you can.

Oh you are one of the ones who didn't get to make the trip. Look at the bright side, you can raid the refrigerators of the ones who left and save on your grocery bill.

As funny and idiotic this is to most of us. there is a very serious side I do have concern about. Keep in mind we are not speaking of the end of the earth we are speaking of the rapture during which these believers think the righteous will be lifted up and the ones doomed to hell will be left behind.

On the 22 more than a few who find themselves still here are going to be convinced they are doomed to hell with no chance of redemption.

A person with that frame of mind may not be good to have as a neighbor, especially if he is angry and has a gun. What would a person with that mind set be capable of, they are already damned no matter what they do they can not be punished more.

Just a scary thought I just had. May I be wrong.

I think we are going to see an increase in suicides. Many have quit their jobs, sold all the possessions, and spent their life savings to "spread the word." When the earthquakes don't happen they'll realize they still have to live. They've essentially just proven to their friends and family how foolish they really are. Some may not be able to live with that reality. It's a shame, and I feel embarrassed for them.

That does sound like the most probable scenario. Gloomy but not as gloomy as what I was thinking.

This.

Like.. if a being that looked like Jesus and said HEY IM JESUS came down and started beaming people up.. then I would clearly believe in Jesus and Christianity for the obvious reason.

I would still be very skeptical, though.
I am a firm believer that ET's were around during them Biblical times. For all we know, the second coming could very well be them saying "We'll be back to check up on you in "x" years". So, who knows.

I can't stand I want the world to end, or have any form of destruction.. but.. I think something exciting would happen, lol

There are so few Chrstians who actually follow the teachings of the Christ depicted in the NT, that we wouldn't even notice them missing.
