There is no such thing as too much of it.

The point to the article is that believers who were raised to believe that sex is dirty or immoral or who were raised with strict religious believes about what is and is not appropriate in a bedroom "because God said so" tend to be guilt-ridden, and those who are guilt-ridden are unable to engage in the communication necessary for a fulfilling sex life.

Clearly you do not feel guilt-ridden if you are having great sex. That is awesome. If you want to attribute that to your god, feel free. That doesn't mean that you have the best sex in the world though: What you consider good sex might bore me to tears.

Well, there are religions where the wives are just 'used' and whose privates are mutilated so that they can't enjoy sex ~ practiced in parts of Africa and still common in the Middle East.

But I don't know of anybody ~ not one single person, Christian or not ~ who thinks sex is "dirty". A few who have lost interest, yes ~ but not due to religious beliefs at all.

Besides, I think you'd be highly surprised at how uninhibited Christian people can be behind closed doors. . . . I just don't think any of you have been fortunate enough to try it.

I'm a little religous, so I still believe sex is a little dirty, which makes it that much better than if I was an Athiest and its was totally clean!

You guys know he said it CAN dwidle, not that it does for everyone.

Also, this "story" is obviously by liberals who think that believers can't have sex or they go to hell or some other nonsense. The Bible has some passages concerning sex and its pleasures (not explicit) and states that sex between married couples who truly love each other is supposed to be a wonderful experience that brings you closer together. This is not to say that sex between others cannot be fulfilling. No guilt here - I'm not Catholic!

In economics, there's a law. Its called the law of diminishing returns. That law applied to sex also, especially sex with the same partner.
