So.. in spite of your likely true inner feelings and anti-atheistic motivation, you've also probably not actually read any of Richard's excellent publications, huh? Else you'd not be so reactively defensive.

I run into this often. I provide a supposedly open-minded Christian with a link to a genuine and scientifically adjudicated journal article where such and such aspect of, let's say, Evolution or ancient-age geology or extinct dinosaurs, have been categorically proven beyond a reasonable, rational doubt, and 1) they obviously don't, can't or won't read it, and/or 2) they yowl at the moon in despondent denialism.

Quite the approach to intellectually open-minded acquisition of knowledge, I'll say!

Of course, I fully understand why they must continue to deny it, else the entire world of Christianity would fully collapse within a year or two at most. After all, the relentless eradication of old religious myths and lies is hardly a good end-point for one's life-long (started when they were innocents in kindergarten and Sunday School, so such fables are very hard to dislodge now...) personal, deeply-held convictions, right?

My sincere condolences, Christians! Really!

Oh, I should have expected that response. You don't agree with Dawkins; therefore, he's a lousy philosopher. Can't argue with that logic.

Reads like the back of a biography of the Religion/science collision. Well done!

Or:
"I couldn't understand a thing I read by Dawkins but my pastor assures me that he can refute every last Dawkinsian word!"

Follow-up question:

How do you defeat an incoherent argument?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Hint -- next time you make false claims, try and make sure they aren't mutually exclusive. While it won't make your lies any more believable, it will make you look a bit less stupid.

Just some friendly advice ...

So, after watching the video,...being of sound mind....I can only conclude that Bill O'reilly is a pompous, insulting, rude,pathetic little man with blinders on, and no desire to hear anything other than what's already in his closed little mind.
