Just intruding cause I have too much free time today. Just thinking of the havoc if the Muslim and Jewish populations hollered discrimination because the sign says God and not Allah or G_D.

The Jews may have an even better cause than us Muslim as the spelling God is seen as blasphemy or disrespect by many of them.

Well lets see, i noticed that all of the "ignorant & close minded" Atlanta politicians mentioned in your first post have a certain thing in common.
Then you concur with an author who claims that the confederates were motivated by some noble cause of preventing deterioration of cities.
A claim which btw if false.

I think its you who should "cut to the chase already", and state in a frank & open manner what your racial beliefs are instead of this thinly veiled bs political rhetoric

My racial beliefs are that ignorance and stupidity know no racial boundaries. My belief is that there only two kinds of people in this world, ignorant and intelligent.

Now I could go on about past legislators like Burke Day, Calvin Smyre and the past house speaker Tom Murphy, but they were not from Atlanta. I choose a few legislators from Atlanta that in my opinion are ignorant. There are a whole lot more, of different races also. Roy Barnes left a nice budget mess for us if you remember. Not that Sonny did much better as a Governor, he let the teachers down but did take care of his home county with the fishing museum, which I'm sure will generate a lot of revenue.

But back to the original point of the post, delusional behaviour knows no racial boundaries either. The post by asheville native called attention to comparing rural GA to Atlanta, there are similarities between the two, and there are differences as well. There happened to be a larger contigent of people that dont want sunday liquor sales in the rural areas, and obviously more in the metro areas. But to address asheville native's post, yes atlanta is in ga, but it doesnt exclusively represent ga, thank goodness.

And they're all fair game, as are all elected officials, republicans and democrats as well.
