Essentially if someone doesn't believe in God, the will likely believe in science. So that was my little insinuation. At the end of the day, those are just theories and will change over time. God's word will not change and is forever. IMO it takes more faith to believe in something that will change in 10 years than something that has been around forever unscathed. JMO.
The words do change because your interpretations change all the time depending upon which sect you belong to.

@rifleman

Sir I am well aware of the difference between a theory and a hypothesis (please spare me the lecture). A theory still is NOT fact no matter how you try to frame it. It is no more than a mere explanation based on a tested hypothesis. But to rely on this explanation is based on assumption of "unbiased intentions". I do not see how it is unfathomable that a scientist can manipulate the hypothesis to support a theory. There is history of scientists rejecting a hypothesis over theory and adjusting the hypothesis until it fits the intended theory.

Apparently you do not realize that I was separating God from religion. Religion was invented by man to control people through fear. God does not use fear (1 John 4:18). If you read the bible in the original form (Hebrew) you can find out where man manipulated God's word to serve his own purpose (political and worldly gains). I'm not even a religious person, so any attempt you try to make at discrediting religion does not even offend me. I don't even go to church. I just believe in God.

It's quite peculiar that you insist that we accept a belief that is not even 200 years old over one that is over 6, 000 years and have stood the test of time (we still talking about it now), and you so are certain it is the truth. Are you even aware of how much this "evolution theory" has changed since it's inception? Why would it take man (or any entity) "billions" or "millions" of years to "evolve" and find out the "truth" about life on the planet? I guess those "Dark Ages" must have been longer than we thought.
