To all you people who disagree with the idea of collecting things, what would you most like to collect:

a. Postage stamps;
b. Barbed wire;
c. Doorknobs.

Old Bottles. Odd I can't seem to vote for it. but I don't like any of the choices.

Jack are you trying to convey a message about this thread with your post?

Sorry, old bottles isn't a choicer. Even if you don't like collecting things, and you disagree with the very idea of collecting things, you have to choose one of the three items I suggested and tell us why you would enjoy collecting them.

I guess I would choose Judaism because I tend to associate this religion more with liberalism and intellectualism (apart from the "fundamentalist" Jews but that's just a small minority). Also, they have some very interesting traditions, they don't proselytize, they don't believe their religion is superior to other religions and they don't believe in hell (IIRC).

This is all hypothetical of course because there is no way that I would ever convert to any religion

Now that is a stupid Poll. How can I vote for something I don't believe in. I don't believe in Postage Stamps, Barbed wire or Door Knobs. They are not legitimate collections.

How in Blue Blazes can I pretend to like one better than the other 2? All 3 are the same.

Barbed wire. We could save it up and give it to people who post meaningless polls on City-Data.

None of those.

I do like Bokononism though. It isn't Abrahamic, though.

The one Abrahamic religion that I think is actually pretty neat instead of just cartoonishly evil though would be Gnostic Christianity. It is still totally wrong, but I think if the world as a whole has to have an Abrahamic religion, it'd be the best option.

Wow, 5 people voted. I wonder if they were actually Atheists..

Islam appears to be utterly failing, Judaism slightly failing, and Christianity failing even less.
