But of course. It is set in the future, after all the nonsense has died away. Picard on The Next Generation was outspokenly atheist.

Howard seems to adhere somewhat to Jewish traditions. Raj seems to have some beliefs in Hinduism.

I haven't seen Leonard or Penny show any leanings one way or the other.
Sheldon regularly mocks his mother's beliefs, but the content of what he says seems to demonstrate pretty clearly that he rejects not just the extremes of her sect, but religion in general.

I haven't heard the others state their religious beliefs, but since they are all scientists the odds are that they're atheists.

Ah! Thank you for the info - I was wondering what country of origin this show came from, for it didn't seem American to me (heck, the name gives that away). My initial guess (Japan) is wrong, I suppose, eh?

The show is surprisingly entertaining for adults, as well as children. The dance should be a requirement for everyone in the morning.

I don't watch a lot of TV, so I didn't know about all these TV shows until I was at someone's house. I was watching an episode of House and the doctor patently insulted a nun. It was the greatest thing I've ever seen, because I thought atheists were still in the closet in many places. It's good to see it being more open.

I don't watch the show, but I heard there was an atheist in the show Glee as well.
