Ray Comfort??? Ray Comfort??? Are you freakin' kidding me???? Ray Comfort. This clown was practically laughed off YouTube with his banana "proof" and now he comes to speak up for black folks??? In his attempt to insult atheists and endear himself to the throngs of religious black folks out there, he instead, manages to insult black people in general with this gem:

"Most atheists are white, educated, and greatly lacking when it comes to common sense...”

*TRIPLE FACE PALM*

The invocation of Godwin's Law was pretty instantaneous with the huge picture of Hitler next to the article. Good job, Comfort!

Yes, anyone who thinks a human can rise from the dead must be a genius. Real smart people disregard the laws of the natural world......Next he'll be telling black people that college is for elitist liberals and the only education they need is the bible.

This guy.....and yet many blacks will consider this perverted theory a complement. My entire family being among the "many".

This guy must be desperate for support.

It's sad that in this day and age, the phrase "Blacks are like...." is still used. Regardless of whether it's atheism, or welfare, or hip hop music...not ALL BLACKS are the same on anything! As soon as I hear a phrase like "Republicans are.." or "Atheists are..." or "Gays are....." my brain tunes out because you can be SURE a bunch of bullcrap is about to follow.

Note the many catch phrases he uses and how he completely blurs the line between evolution and origins as if they are the same thing. Supposedly black people do not believe everything came from nothing but educated, white people [implicitly] do.

Also, he confuses Hitler's willful, murderous actions with how "survival of the fittest" actually works in nature.

There isn't much this moron could say that anyone with half a brain would lend much credence to.

I suspect this is actually an underhanded attempt to coax some atheists into responding in a way that he could claim was racist.

His claim that anyone is "to smart for atheism" is an oxymoron to begin with, kinda like cruel kindness. For a person to really be an atheist they would certainly be intelligent, and also intelligent enough to comprehend the falacy of religion. Atheism, like intelligence, knows no racial boundaries. Atheism and intelligence are very much connected, one can't possibly exist without the other.

Well I wouldn't go that far.....I find that most atheists I meet and talk to are quite intelligent, so I can go with you down that street.

But to say you can't be intelligent UNLESS you are an atheist, that I don't agree with. There are a lot of really intelligent people that just happen to believe in some supernatural phenomenon like God or Santa or republicans that aren't evil. I view it as an odd and strange little quirk on their part, but it doesn't preclude them from being quite intelligent in other ways.

Now whether or not the intelligent people I see in the News, or read about in books (sometimes their books) Really and TRULY believe in God, I don't know. Maybe they are just paying lip service or repeating what they were brought up with. But for instance, Barack Obama, whether you like him or not, is an intelligent man, and I don't think he says he believes in god just because he is a politician. He seems to legitimately believe it and went to church long before he became a politician. Shrug.
