We've all heard the phrase, "Stop shoving atheism down my throat!" from non-atheists. We've also heard, "Stop shoving your religion down my throat!" from others.
This is a figurative phrase. I means something like, "stop imposing your beliefs on me in a way that is threatening, hostile, oppressive, or inescapable!"
Well, what if we want to shove atheism down some throats?

Hah! However, just replacing Religion with atheism doesn't work perfectly. at least it is a warning not to use those methods if it looks so bad.
Public discussion is much the best way and the more entertaining it is, the better. Religion could be entertaining but often isn't. Some people have told me they gave up on religion because it was boring.
Atheism shouldn't be very entertaining, but I think it can be. It's a technique that we could cultivate -informative, entertaining and the more it makes people laugh, the better.
It's dangerous to assume that a theist could grasp such a concept. After all, look at how they can't recognize the difference between fairy tales and reality. Something as subtle as satire, not a chance.

Loved it! I'd like to post it (anonymously of course..) in the hall of the local church, just to watch (or maybe video?) the outrage and "harrumph"ing that would ensue!
"Well, My Lord! How Dare They! We don't behave like that at all!" (do we?)
Christians do NOT have a sense of humor about such stuff, after all!
One of the reasons why I don't claim to be an Atheist or Religious person ever.
Atheism seems to be very dangerous (Like Religion) too...
