Evolution isn't something to "believe" in, any more than is science in general. This is a cliche, but it's like asking if you believe in gravity.

I believe that it is a theory, so it's not definitely true (unlike gravity, which is a law), but it has a a LOT of scientific evidence behind it.

Ugh! Here we go again with the false "it's only a theory" argument. You don't have a clue of what a theory is!

Newbie troll. Newbie, if you were REALLY interested in people's "opinions" about something that is not debatable within the SCIENTIFIC community, you would have checked the many other threads on this same non-tiopic.

Moving on ...

Research needed before posting nonsense, otherwise it can be embarrassing for you....Gravity is both a theory and a law...To put it simply, the law describes the attraction between two objects and the theory describes why the objects attract each other...

Evolution is both theory (the scientific definition) and fact...The facts are the information obtained from the theory, and the theory is the structure of ideas that interpret and explains those facts.

I don't believe in evolution -- or gravity, or the speed of sound. I just accept the evidence for their existence as an adequate explanation of the things those concepts explain.

I don't need to believe. There is more than enough evidence to make it a fact, even while some of the mechanisms are still being discovered.

Default Do you believe in evolution??

No.

Nor do I believe in gravity, electromagetism or chemistry.

None of these is an article of faith.
