Seeker,

Everyone here has expressed sincere condolences and our deepest sympathy for your great loss of your wonderful mate in life. She sounds like an extraordinary person.

Permit me to say that I feel a profound sense of gratitude that you decided to share with us your loss and something about Elaine's life and what she meant to you. You see, living nearly half a world away and haven't met the lady I somehow feel privileged and her life has touched mine even in a small way ... that her goodness and kindness is transmitted to other parts of the world through your loving tribute to her.

Surely Elaine will live forever in the hearts of everyone who knew her and loved her.

For anyone interested, here are 3 of the 5 vids we compiled in her honour with music she loved that played at her memorial service.

1. Our early life and when we met, engagement, cape holiday
2. Moving to our marriage and children
5. My goodbye

3&4 were by my kids and one is in Afrikaans.

These are on google docs but plays like Youtube

Two more vids on FB Where I actually play the music. You'll probably need a FB profile, mine is public

1. Annies Song (this was a song I played as a proposal to her and was special to her)
2. Song for Elaine (this was one of my own compositions)

Even though I don't know you Seeker, your eulogy was very touching. I imagine your wife was quiet the lady for having been able to effect people such as yourself so deeply. For what it's worth, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Seeker,
Thank you for sharing those videos with us.
She had a wonderful loving family and life.
She was always smiling wasn't she?
I'm sorry you will have to live without her now, but please
allow yourself to grieve and take as long as you need to do it.
Those videos are beautiful! What a wonderful tribute you have for your
love of your life.
Take care of yourself now, she would want that.
