Hey, I voted for Trump, and I'm glad he won. I had enough Obamacrap*, and Hillary would have been even worse...and that commie nutcase from Vermont, sheesh...I might have had to review my training from the SS PPT to enumerate the flaws...I couldn't stomach any of the other Repub candidates but the Dem offerings were even worse. Electing Trump was like throwing a [figurative] grenade in the White House and the political process, which I think was exactly what we needed.

I think Trump should spend less time tweeting stupid shtuff, but...otherwise, I'm rather pleased so far.

*(Forcing people to buy an insurance product and penalizing them via the IRS for failing to do so was absolutely and unequivocally wrong. If reversing that mandate were the only thing accomplished by Trump I would say it was still worthwhile to elect him.)

This year I have vowed to make no promises or pledges I might have difficulty keeping.

Default Trump shlita

As you can imagine, I had to look at that. It is on the Jewish Forum, and worth a read as they debate whether this great man (1) could be the promised Messiah.

(1) he had the interests of the Jews at heart. So does Ben Stein.

I used to argue with 9/11 conspiracy theorists. Gave up. It is just like arguing with fundamentalists.

I'm doing the Book.

Again. The last draft suffered from what my Peru pal calls "Did I forget to lock the door? itis". I was sure I'd left some passages out and so had to start again, and since I was so involved in posting here (it's ALL your fault, you see) it sorta got Bilboed. Didn't help that there was new stuff coming out, too. Thanks to the discussion with Pneuma, the Nativity chapter will be be far better (1), and I'll not just be looking at the OT text of prophecies, but the Septuagint version, which is key to understanding NT prophecy.

Watch this space, but don't hold your breaths.

(1) the Questions and problems of the last few years B.C. are somewhat clarified.

Ain't that the truth. Based on my knowledge and experience with explosives in general and thermite bombs in particular, when my wife called me to see what was going on on the TV and I saw the towers burning, it took but a moment to comprehend that the weight of the structures above the areas where the conflagrations were weakening the structural integrity would result in the total collapse of the towers. The only conspiracy was among the terrorists...but still some idiots want to claim the the US gov't blew up the buildings.

I am not such an expert, but I believe what the engineers who actually knew the building, worked there, examined the pieces, and read and commented on the reports said. Further, I was IN one of them. The building was leaning after impact. You could tell in the stairs. The steel did not sound right, and if you don't know what that means, you don't know what the steel sounded like normally, and if you don't know what THAT means, you don't know anything about the towers and how they sounded from inside. It was groaning horribly one way, but not coming back, and there were clanking sounds as if something was broken. Because things were broken.

My problem with the tin-foilers is that so much of what they say shows how little they knew about the buildings or what happened that day.
