You are welcome. Short of a face to face encounter, I would consider him a friend regardless. His posts will remain as has been stated.

So sorry for your loss and it is sad to lose someone still so young by boomer standards.

Despite his aggressive stance against theism, most folk missed the humour and sincerity of his position. I am sure he will be missed in real life as he will be missed here.

Rest in Peace dear CD friend..
He reminded me a bit of my Dad -- cranky and cantankerous exterior, sweet soft interior. I will miss his trademark stemwinder posts, even if I did not read most of them stem-to-stern.

His troubles are over now and he lives on in our memories. I'll miss him.

Please know how sorry I am for your loss.

Your father once mentioned you to me and told me how extremely proud he was of you!

I hope in time only good memories of him will remain and that they will comfort you.

Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust.

May your body return to the earth and replenish it. May the elements that made you help future life to flourish. And may the thoughts that flowed from you here on City data continue to move the minds of your fellow simians.
