Nobody who saw his epic fail on the Designed banana should care a damn about his opinions, but the fact is that he is a prominent spokesman for a particularly noxious form of evangelical Christian fundamentalism and continues to have a high profile. To ignore his pronouncements would only provide his fellow - believers with an opportunity to ingenuously (love the word
) claim that the unbelievers were silenced, had no reply, checkmate atheists, Christianity 1 atheism nil.
Thus we are forced rather to show his fatheaded pronouncements to be what they are - fatheaded.
